Wines & Spines Book Club

We meet on the 4th Monday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Corteau Vineyards Tasting Room. It’s free! You’re welcome to have wine while you join us, but it is not required. Bring your enthusiasm for books and friends, and you’re golden. Note: November and December are usually the third Monday to avoid holiday conflicts.

We also like to donate to the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home every month, but this is entirely voluntary. If you’d like to see what we’re donating each month, click here.

Anyone in the club is welcome to suggest books for us to read. We hold votes on the proposed titles and take the time to carefully review each one to ensure it’s both popular and well-suited for engaging group discussions. When you join, you only need to pay for your own copy of the book. Best of all, our monthly meetings are completely free to attend.

Discuss it.

Every fourth Monday of the month (except holiday weeks), we gather at the Corteau Vineyards Tasting Room to enjoy a relaxed and engaging conversation about the book we’re reading. A designated leader brings thoughtful questions to help guide and spark the discussion. While you don’t need to have finished the entire book to join in, it definitely adds to the experience. Everyone is always welcome to purchase and enjoy a glass of our delicious wine, but it’s absolutely not required. Non-drinkers and new members are warmly welcomed and encouraged to join the fun!
